Welcome to Grendel’s Lair.
Hidden beneath the pulse of Philadelphia’s 1980s rock scene, the Lair is more than a nightclub—it’s a kingdom ruled by Vlad and The Impalers, a band as magnetic and dangerous as the music they play. Night after night, crowds descend into the underground club chasing freedom, temptation, and the feeling that anything can happen once the lights go down.
Johnny Dollar arrives at the Lair searching for purpose after walking away from a life that no longer fits. What he finds is a world of fierce loyalty, dark ambition, seductive power, and secrets buried beneath leather, smoke, and screaming guitars.
At the center stands Vlad—charismatic, commanding, impossible to ignore. Beside him is Jenny, the woman who sees the man beneath the legend and understands the darkness that follows him.
To some, Vlad is a savior. To others, a threat. But everyone who enters Grendel’s Lair eventually discovers the same truth:
Nobody leaves unchanged.
This started as music. Now it’s A BOOK.
